Martin is a Trail Blazers who have received numerous of Awards. She received from the state of Mississippi Black Excellence award in 2022. SHE HAD DUAL CAREER IN HEALTH CARE AND Taxes Ms. Martin was the first Black Director of the Lowndes County Health Department she worked tiredly to get the 2.3 million new health department presently located on Lemberg Rd. Ms Martin ran a successful non-profit where she provided toys uniforms, school supplies, coats. Mentoring to our youth with workshops on voting and how to start their own business for the youth. Assisted in providing hotel rooms for the homeless. Ms, Martin served two terms as Election Commissioner for the City of Columbus. She is a license insurance agent. She was a certified credit counselor and had a credit repair business until 2021 where she helped hundreds of people get into beautiful homes by restoring their credit. Ms. Martin is working on three generation of tax clients. In 2022 celebrated 40 years in the tax business.
